Literacy: EL Education

Created by teachers for teachers, and based on college and career readiness standards, the EL Education Language Arts curriculum is a comprehensive, research-informed, core language arts program that engages teachers and students through compelling, real world content.

Mathematics: Illustrative Mathematics

Illustrative Mathematics (IM) is an awesome nonprofit organization that believes every single student can crush it in math class. They don't think math is just for "math people"—they believe it's for everyone!

To help students build strong, long-lasting math skills, IM gives teachers some amazing tools, including:

  • Fun & Engaging Lessons: Say goodbye to boring worksheets. IM creates activities that actually make sense and keep things interesting.

  • Support for Teachers: They help teachers learn the best and coolest ways to teach math.

  • An Awesome Community: They are building a huge network of students and teachers who work together.

Ultimately, IM's big goal is to create a world where all students can understand, use, and actually enjoy math!

Science: Amplify Science

Amplify Science blends hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers.

Social Studies: Passport

The NYCDOE K-8: Passport to Social Studies program is a comprehensive instructional resource that integrates the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS) and the New York State K-8 Social Studies Framework to support strong social studies teaching and learning.
